You can delete your Avednex account from inside the app at any time. This page explains exactly what gets removed, what we are required to keep, and how to ask us to do it if you cannot open the app.
Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out on every device you were using, and cancelling any active subscription is part of the deletion, so it stops renewing.
In the rare case our payment provider cannot be reached at that moment, the deletion still goes ahead and we are alerted to cancel the subscription by hand. If you ever see a charge dated after you deleted your account, email us with the payment reference from your card or bank statement and we will cancel it.
Payment and invoice records are kept. We are not free to delete them: tax and accounting law requires a business to retain proof of every transaction for a fixed number of years, and that obligation outlives the account.
What is kept is the transaction, not you: the amounts, the dates and the reference numbers that the law requires us to be able to produce. The personal details are stripped out of them — the records stay attached to an account that no longer carries your name, email address, phone number or photo, and the copy of the payment provider's notification we store with each payment is redacted so it no longer carries the email address and phone number you paid with.
What we cannot delete for you is the copy held elsewhere: our payment provider and your own bank keep their record of the same payment under their own rules, and deleting your Avednex account does not reach it.
Your completion certificate is kept too, with your name taken off it. The number still verifies — it has to, because anyone you already gave it to can check it — but it shows the holder as “Deleted account” rather than naming you. A certificate number is never reissued to anyone else.
Deletion is permanent and access ends immediately. There is no grace period and no way for us to restore the account afterwards — if you buy Avednex again later you will be starting from an empty account, and any course access you had paid for is gone with it.
If you have lost the device, cannot sign in, or the app will not open, email us and we will delete the account for you.
Send the request from the email address the account is registered to. That is how we know it is you — a request from any other address is one we cannot safely act on, and we will ask you to write in from the registered address instead.
